CHECKER

The birth of Checker and beyond

25 years ago, the founder of FAS recognised a troubling trend where lenders frequently imposed excessive interest charges on borrowers’ mortgage and loan accounts. What initially appeared to be an issue affecting only a few mortgages soon revealed itself a widespread problem with most lenders systematically overcharging borrowers across the board.

The Checker system, established in 2005, has transformed into a unique and highly regarded system, recognised for its robustness and accreditation. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, born from auditing 1,000's of financial agreements, Checker has gathered numerous accolades from esteemed professionals including a Forensic Auditor, a senior Costs Draftsman, a Professor of Mathematics, and Senior Counsel. The founder is an expert in mortgages, loans, and Regulated Consumer Credit Agreements solidifying the system's credibility and effectiveness in the industry.

A range of Checker modules, that can evaluate various types of financial agreements, have evolved over the years and are now integrated within its system . These modules generate detailed reports that legal professionals can use effectively when advocating for their clients (the Claimant).

With the Checker comprehensive assessments and reports, you ensure informed decision-making in your legal pursuits.
